Shortly after the brand new song premiered on streaming platforms and YouTube, Swift informed her fans that she had also released an ‘Elvira Remix’ of Fearless’ lead single Love Story (Taylor’s Version).

‘You All Over Me (feat. @marenmorris) (From The Vault) and Love Story (Taylor’s Version) – Elvira Remix are out now because in this house we dance and cry at the SAME TIME,’ she wrote on Instagram.

The emotional breakup ballad was first teased to fans on Wednesday when Swift took to the social media platform with the single’s striking cover art.

‘HI. I wanted to let you know that the first “From the Vault” song I’m releasing from Fearless (Taylor’s Version) comes out tomorrow at midnight eastern,’ captioned the Grammy Award-winner.

‘It’s called You All Over Me (From The Vault),’ she continued. ‘One thing I’ve been loving about these From The Vault songs is that they’ve never been heard, so I can experiment, play, and even include some of my favorite artists.’

Taylor gushed that she was ‘really excited’ to have Maren do the ‘background vocals on this song!!’

You All Over Me (From The Vault) was also produced by Swift’s Folklore and Evermore collaborator Aaron Dessner and co-written by Scooter Carusoe.

‘can’t wait for you to hear it,’ concluded the Mean singer, who boasts 151million followers on Instagram.

Fearless: Taylor Swift is set to release re-recordings of her past albums, with Fearless (Taylor’s Version) being the first on the docket

Taylor is working on re-recording her first six records due to the fact that her entire music catalogue (pre-2019) was purchased by Scooter Braun’s Ithaca Holdings for an estimated $300million. It is now owned by Shamrock Holdings, as per Billboard.

Back in February, Swift revealed that she had completed her re-recordings of all of the tracks on Fearless, which was originally released in 2008.

‘I’m thrilled to tell you that my new version of ‘Fearless (Taylor’s Version)’ is done and will be with you soon,’ wrote the star on Instagram at the time.

‘It has 26 songs including 6 never before released songs from the vault. Love Story (Taylor’s Version) will be out tonight,’ continued Swift, hinting at You All Over Me.

Big winner: Earlier this month, Swift won the coveted Album of the Year at this year’s Grammy Awards’; Swift pictured on March 14

The album is available for pre-order, and a hidden message in an accompanying note suggested it could drop in April.

In a lengthy statement, she added: ‘Artists should own their own work for so many reasons, but the most screamingly obvious one is that the artist is the only one who really *knows* that body of work.

‘For example, only I know which songs I wrote that almost made the Fearless album. Songs I absolutely adored, but were held back for different reasons (don’t want too many breakup songs, don’t want too many down tempo songs, can’t fit that many songs on a physical CD).’

However, now Taylor is ready to deliver ‘the whole story’ to her passionate fanbase.

So honored: The Cardigan singer felt ‘so honored’ to take the accolade for her record ‘Folklore’ ahead of albums by Jhene Aijo, Black Pumas, Coldplay, Jacon Collier, Haim, Dua Lipa, and Post Malone at the ceremony in Los Angeles

All about the fans: Taylor then went on to express her gratitude for the support of her loyal fans. She said: ‘Mostly, we want to thank the fans. You guys met us in this imaginary world we created and we can’t tell you how honored we are, and to the Recording Academy, we’ll never forget that you did this, thank you so much’

She said: ‘I’ve decided I want you to have the whole story, see the entire vivid picture, and let you into the entire dreamscape that is my Fearless album.

‘That’s why I’ve chosen to include 6 never before released songs on my version of this album. Written when I was between the ages of 16 and 18, these were the ones it killed me to leave behind.

‘This process has been more fulfilling and emotional than I could’ve imagined and has made me even more determined to re-record all of my music.’

After thanking those she worked on the album with, she said: ‘Joe, who is the first person I play every single song that I write and I had the best time writing songs to you in quarantine.

‘I want to thank James, Inez, and Betty, and their parents, who are the second and third people I play the songs that I write.’

Earlier in the evening, Taylor sang from the roof of a cabin for her first Grammy Awards performance in five years. The performance began with the star lying in the grass and singing ‘Cardigan’ up to the audience, before the camera panned out to reveal she was on top of the cabin in a forest setting, with her collaborators Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner inside, ready to move into ‘August’, on which she also played guitar. The short set closed out with ‘Willow’.
