Nikolas Cassadine Is Financially Backing Up Cyrus Renault For Wyndemere

General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that fans should expect the unexpected. Viewers were shocked when they learned that Mason Gatlin’s (Nathanyael Grey) boss was Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober); even more, caught off guard when they realized the great lengths the criminal-turned-man-of-God went to keep his nephew alive. Audiences might be even more stunned to learn that Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) is the one financially backing his long-lost uncle to purchase Wyndemere.

General Hospital Spoilers  – The Two Have History

GH spoilers have been hinting that Nikolas and Cyrus are working together; however, nothing has been shown via storylines yet. Still, these two have a tumultuous history, despite being “family”.

After all, the bomb Cyrus organized at the Floating Rib in late 2020 resulted in Nik’s sister – Cyrus’s niece – Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) landing in a coma. When he found out his uncle was behind it, Nik threatened Renault.

Still, Cyrus also took extreme measures to save Nikolas’s life, and Cassadine has to know this. The few scenes fans saw of Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) and Nik together showed Cassadine very at ease with the good doctor and was aware that Ava Jerome (Maura West) thought he was dead. Despite their insane past, maybe they’ve pushed that all aside in light of recent events.

GH Spoilers – Nik Cassadine & Cyrus Renault’s Secret Alliance

Nik’s got loads of money, and Cyrus once did too, until he gave it all away to help a rehabilitation program at the prison, he once resided in.

Renault may have genuinely wanted to help his fellow inmates, or the move could’ve been made for sheer theatrics. If he knows that he has financial backing from his nephew, then he doesn’t have to worry about money, for the interim.

If it wasn’t for Cyrus, Nik would be dead. He may feel as if he needs to repay his uncle for not only “saving him” but all the Pautauk hospitality that was extended during his recovery.

So, if Nikolas is providing his uncle with money, could he also be offering up the dough so that Cyrus can snag Wyndemere and Spoon Island? Maybe it’s a way for Renault to purchase it, keep it all in the family, but give it back to Nik … eventually.

Could Nik be backing his Uncle Cyrus up, financially? Share your thoughts below. Watch the popular ABC soap daily to see what happens next and visit CTS regularly for the best General Hospital updates, spoilers, and news.
