They are one of the most iconic couples in sci-fi history.
And Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss proudly showcased their over two decade relationship and discussed their chemistry both on and off screen.
The two thespians cuddled up as they appeared on the cover of Entertainment Weekly together ahead of the release of highly-anticipated sequel The Matrix Resurrections.

Carrie-Anne, 54, was right behind Keanu, 57, as she wrapped her right arm around him while he sat backwards on a chair in the snap.
The talented actress – who stars as Trinity in the franchise of films – talked about their 20-year relationship and gushed about how effortless their connection is.
She said: ‘We’ve been through this experience together as partners. The only way I can describe it is like a soul friendship.’
The first film which was released in 1999 was a smash hit at the box office as it earned over $460million worldwide.

They also starred together in the sequels – The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions which both came out in 2003 – before the opportunity for a fourth film came nearly two decades later.
Keanu – who plays Neo AKA Thomas Anderson – revealed what made him want to return to one of his signature roles as he told EW: ‘We had filmmakers who you wanted to say yes to.
‘[We had] material that you wanted to commit to, to give everything that you could to.’

Interesting: The 57-year-old actor’s long hair makes him resemble his other signature character John Wick, as he is seen in 2019’s John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum
This comes just weeks after the two stars were featured in a new poster released for the highly-anticipated film as Keanu is seen front and center reprising his role as Neo but this time he had long hair much like his John Wick character
There were a few newcomers on the poster including Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Jessica Henwick.
‘Step back into the Matrix with this new poster for The Matrix Resurrections. Watch it in theaters and on HBO Max* this Christmas,’ the film’s Twitter account captioned the new poster.
The Matrix Resurrections – directed by Lana Wachowski – is set for worldwide release on Wednesday, December 22.
