Even John Wick needs a break sometimes!

That was the case in Brooklyn, New York on Thursday as Keanu Reeves perched himself in a corner outdoors to puff a cigarette and chug a protein shake amid work on John Wick: Chapter 3.

The bearded screen star, 53, donned an Aegean blue T-shirt with blue jeans and brown hiking shoes as he sat on a folding chair inhaling puffs of the cigarettes.

He topped things off with a red trucker-style cap that read, ‘Arch,’ with his dark locks cascading out of the back of it.

The Matrix actor still had a bandage around his left thumb he’s been seen sporting in recent days.

The veteran actor stars alongside Ruby Rose in the third installment of the action series, in which he plays the titular character, an assassin who comes out of retirement to avenge the death of his dog, and theft of his vintage automobile.

The film comes on the heels of its two predecessors that played to huge results at the box office, with the initial 2014 film John Wick racking up $43 million in the states and $88 million worldwide; and last year’s John Wick: Chapter Two, which took in $92 million in the states and $171 million worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo.

He’s also linked to a third installment in the Bill & Ted series, that would be titled Bill & Ted Face the Music, reuniting him with Alex Winter.

John Wick: Chapter 3 is currently slated to hit theaters May 17, 2019.
