It’s been 18 years since fans last saw Keanu Reeves slip into the role of Neo in The Matrix Revolutions, which was the third installment in the successful film franchise.
And with just days until the fourth installment, The Matrix Resurrections, drops, Keanu Reeves is in full promo mode for the much-anticipated science fiction action film.
As part of that promotional push, Reeves was spotted making his way to the Ed Sullivan Theater for an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

Already looking dressed to impress in a dark suit, the leading man got dropped off in front of the theater in Midtown Manhattan and was greeted by eager fans and security for the late night talk show.
The Matrix star, 57, matched his two-piece suit with a white dress shirt, a matching tie, and brown suede shows.
Appearing to be coming from a previous promotional guest spot, Reeves was carrying another suit ensemble in his hands while making his way to the entrance doors.
The Canadian native is sporting shoulder length hair, with a center part, and a full salt-and-pepper beard and mustache.

The dark navy blue suit was also matched with a white dress shirt and dark tie; only this time he went with shiny black leather shoes.
The fan friendly star acknowledged fans and security and then made his way to another destination.

Seemingly killed in The Matrix Revolutions (2003), Reeves and the rest of the film crew have been tight-lipped as to how Neo makes his return in the new movie, hence the name Resurrections.
‘Hopefully people will enjoy it — it’s very exciting, and it was an extraordinary experience to make it,’ the actor recently told British talk show host Graham Norton.
Reeves, along with Carrie-Anne Moss, Jada Pinkett-Smith and Lambert Wilson reprise their roles from previous films alongside newcomers Christina Ricci, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick, Neil Patrick Harris, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Jonathan Groff.
The Matrix Resurrections is slated to make its world premiere in Toronto on December 16, and then be released in theaters and stream on HBO Max simultaneously in the United States for a month beginning on December 22, 2021.
