‘We’re just guides’: Jay-Z (pictured) shared his thoughts on his three children following him and his wife Beyoncé into the music business. The 51-year-old revealed that he is not pushing his three children to take over the reigns of his music and business empire

He said: ‘Feeling loved is the most important thing a child needs, you know? Not “Here’s this business that I’m going to hand over to you, that I’m creating for you.”

The Grammy winner explained that their approach has always been to give their kids a ‘loving environment’ and support for what they want to achieve and who they want to be.

‘It’s easy for us, as human beings, to want our children to do certain things, but we have no idea. We’re just guides,’ JAY-Z added.
