Taylor Swift will be spending Thanksgiving ‘stateside’ amid the South American leg of her Eras Tour.
While it is unclear if her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, will be spending the holiday with her, a source confirmed to Page Six that the pop star, 33, plans to ‘jet back home‘ to ‘be with family’ after her concert in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Sunday.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, is seemingly available as he does not have a game scheduled for Thanksgiving Day, nor does his older brother, Jason, who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles.
The 13-time Grammy winner, who recently broke a Grammys record with her latest nomination for song of the year, will ultimately return to São Paulo for her next show on November 24.
Travis’ next game, which will see his team will face off against the Las Vegas Raiders, is not until November 26.
Earlier this month, his mother, Donna Kelce, fueled speculated that Travis would be celebrating with Swift after telling People that she wasn’t ‘quite sure’ what his Thanksgiving plans are.
‘But I do know that I’ll be in Philly because he has a game that Sunday in Philadelphia, so I definitely will be there for that game,’ she added.
However this is normal for the family as they have been traveling during the holidays since both Travis, 34, and Jason, 35, were in college.
Donna said: ‘Ever since they were in college, we’ve always been on the road.’
The two brothers both played football as they attended the University of Cincinnati and would spend their Thanksgivings there or one of the sons would host when they got to the NFL.
Donna explained: ‘I’ve never been in my own home cooking for Christmas or for holidays.
‘It’s just the life of being a mom for the NFL. It’s always work so you have to kind of go where they are.’
A report from Yahoo Entertainment last month claimed the relationship between the singer and one of the stars of the NFL was getting serious.
A source told them: ‘They’re already making plans for the future.
‘He and Taylor have even talked about kids. Travis wants them in the next year or so, and Taylor, of course, is all in.
‘He’s exactly the guy she’s been waiting for. He said he can see himself marrying Taylor.’
The singer sent Swifties into meltdown on Saturday night as she changed the lyrics to hit song Karma to include a few words about her NFL star boyfriend, who was watching in a VIP tent alongside her dad on Saturday night.
Swift sang ‘Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me’ to replace the original lyric, ‘Karma is the guy on the screen coming straight home to me.’
Kelce, 34, spent Saturday night dancing and singing in a VIP tent at Swift’s Argentinian Eras Tour leg, alongside her father Scott.
A viral video captured the moment Kelce heard Swift’s improvisation, as it showed the superstar athlete smacking his hands to the side of face in utter astonishment, before he broke out a few smooth dance moves.
The lyric change wasn’t the only moment Taylor had Travis on her mind, as she also sang to him directly and mouthed the lyrics ‘that’s my man’ during her performance of Willow.
At the end of the show, Kelce was waiting in the wings to greet his girlfriend and the smitten Grammy winner ran into his arms before they shared a kiss.
In an apparent seal of approval, Scott — who was only just recently introduced to Kelce — was photographed wearing a Chiefs lanyard around his neck despite being a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan.
After Taylor attended four of Kelce’s games this season, the NFL star returned the favor during his downtime.
Swift has shown her support for her new beau by attending several games at Arrowhead Stadium, and hosted a watch party for the WAGs at her New York apartment as the Chiefs took on the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
