When Formula One makes its long-awaited return to Las Vegas this week, Sin City will undoubtedly be packed full of A-list celebrities and star-studded guests.

But plenty of drivers will also be bringing their glamourous wives and girlfriends with them to Nevada for support.

Max Verstappen’s Brazilian model partner is the daughter of a Formula One legend while his Red Bull boss Christian Horner is married to a former Spice Girl.

But who are some of the other racers on the grid dating?

From Instagram models, to a professional golfer and even an investment broker, DailyMail.com takes a look at who could be in Las Vegas this weekend.

Kelly Piquet – girlfriend of Max Verstappen

Verstappen – the reigning world champion and dominant force again this season – has been in a relationship with the Brazilian and Dutch model Kelly Piquet since 2020.

Piquet, 34, is the daughter of Nelson Piquet, a former Formula 1 driver and three-time world champion, while her mother, Sylvia Tamsma, is a famous model.

While her dad is regarded as one of the top F1 drivers of all time, his career was shadowed by controversy in 2022 when an old video of him using a racial slur resurfaced and went viral on social media.

He reportedly used the Brazilian Portuguese translation of the N-word while speaking about Lewis Hamilton during the Silverstone Grand Prix in November 2021. Later, Piquet ‘apologized wholeheartedly’ in a statement to CNN.

Piquet was born in Germany, but grew up in the south of France before she and her family moved to Brazil when she was 12. She also briefly studied in England.

After finishing high school, she headed to America to attend Marymount Manhattan College in New York City, where she received a degree in international relations.

While in college, Kelly began her career in fashion – working as a buyer for Bergdorf Goodman and a stylist assistant at Vogue Latin America.

After graduating, she soon started modeling, and she has now posed for numerous big brands like Cartier, Prada, and Louis Vuitton.

Before meeting Max, she previously dated F1 driver Daniil Kvyat from 2017 to 2019 – and they welcomed a daughter together, named Penelope, in 2019.

 

Carmen Mundt – girlfriend of George Russell

British racer George Russell, 25, is dating an investment broker named Carmen Mundt.

It’s believed they first got together in 2020 – confirming their romance at the Tuscan GP that year – but they have quite a considerably low-key relationship.

Carmen is a graduate of the University of Westminster, where she received a degree in business management and finance.

She now works as an investors relations associate for the company Ruffer LLP.

Muni ‘Lily’ He – girlfriend of Alex Albon

Thai-British driver Alexander Albon, 27, is in a relationship with Chinese professional golfer Muni ‘Lily’ He, 24.

She once revealed that they actually got to know each other initially after he slid into her DMs.

Muni has also explained in the past that she got into racing after watching the hit Netflix docuseries ‘Drive to Survive’.

After researching the sport, Albon caught her eye so she decided to follow him on Instagram. He then followed her back, and decided to drop her a message.

‘He DM’d me first, very smoothly,’ she recalled. ‘We were really just friends for the longest time.

After starting golf aged five, her family relocated to Vancouver and then San Diego for training

‘And after months and months of being friends, he eventually came to LA and we got to meet in person.’

She started playing golf at age five and her family decided to relocate – first to Vancouver and then to San Diego – to help her progress.

She began competing professionally in 2017 but is yet to win on the LPGA Tour.

 

Alexandra Saint Mleux – girlfriend of Charles Leclerc

Ferrari’s Leclerc was previously dating internet personality and architecture student Charlotte Sine.

But now he’s loved up with Alexandra Saint Mleux, who it’s believed is originally from Italy but now studies Art History in Paris.

They have been pictured out and about together on several occasions, including at the Mexico Grand Prix last month.

Most recently – on Sunday – they sat courtside as they watched the Los Angeles Lakers and the Portland Trail Blazers battle it out in the NBA.

She boasts a healthy 166,500 followers on TikTok and her videos of her lavish lifestyle and luxurious travel have amassed 1.2million likes.

Her Instagram account suggests a different pace of life, though. On there, her posts are dedicated to art and has a following of 21,000 people.

Tiffany Cromwell – girlfriend of Valtteri Bottas

Finnish driver Valtteri Bottas, 34, has now been with Australian cyclist Tiffany Cromwell since February 2020.

Tiffany, 35, began her cycling career in 2002 after she was discovered by the South Australian Sports Institute’s talent identification program.

In 2010, she joined her first official team – Belgium’s Lotto Ladies. She has switched teams numerous times, but currently rides for UCI Women’s WorldTeam Canyon-SCRAM.

She and Valtteri confirmed that they were dating on Valentine’s Day in 2020.

Their romance was somewhat controversial at first – because it came just months after Valtteri endured a messy split from his ex-wife, Finnish Olympic swimmer Emilia Pikkarainen.

Spanish racer Carlos Sainz is another who does his best to keep his love life out of the spotlight.

When asked by a reporter earlier this year if he was considering getting married to ex-girlfriend Isabel Hernaez, he said: ‘I will in the future’.

But then they unexpectedly broke up just months later.

Not one to hang about, the Spaniard was linked to Scottish model Rebecca Donaldson not long after.

She previously dated Scott Disick, the ex-boyfriend of Kourtney Kardashian.

It looks like they are both doing their best to keep things quiet for now with no sign of the other on their Instagram accounts.

Geri Halliwell-Horner – wife of Christian Horner

The former Spice Girl is worthy of her own spotlight in the Las Vegas paddock this weekend.

Known for wearing an iconic Union Jack dress, Halliwell-Horner formed a fifth of the hit British band who dominated the charts in the late 1990s and have sold in excess of 105 million records worldwide.

She has been publicly dating Red Bull team principal Christian Horner, 49, since March 2014 and they tied the knot in 2015. In January 2017 their son Monty was born.

Halliwell-Horner is regularly seen supporting her husband on the Formula One circuit.

Most recently she was pictured with British heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua at the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas – suggesting there’s a chance she could be in Vegas this weekend.

The seven-time F1 world champion is currently single but was previously dating Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger for just over seven years.

It was reported earlier this summer that Hamilton could have been heading towards another high-profile relationship with a popstar in Shakira.

They sparked continuous dating rumours after being spotted at a number of events together before an insider revealed the pair are ‘more than friends’ following a ‘secret’ trip to Ibiza.

Reports in a Catalan newspaper also claimed that the pair were moving forward with their relationship but it appears to have cooled off for now.
