MARCUS RASHFORD says “no one can touch” a very special gift that he received from Cristiano Ronaldo – and he still keeps it “locked away” now.

And he recently went Sneaker Shopping with Complex’s Joe La Puma at KershKicks in Manchester to discuss his love for Air Max and his partnership with Nike.
However, during the interview, the Old Trafford fan favourite revealed all about receiving a present from his icon Ronaldo.
It was way back in 2018 when Rashford revealed on Instagram that the Portuguese legend, who would become his team-mate three years later, had sent him a pair of his own CR7 Air Max 97s.
And all this time later, the ‘Portugal Patchwork’ Air Max 97’s still remain one of the forward’s most-treasured possessions.
When asked about being gifted his 97s, Rashford said: “No-one can touch them.
“He was one of my favourite players growing up and I liked the shoe. I loved to wear the shoe.
“But, if I messed them up then I don’t know what I’d do to myself.
“So, I’m just better to keep them locked away.”
Rashford was last week named in Gareth Southgate’s 26-man England squad for the upcoming dead-rubber Euro qualifiers against Malta and North Macedonia.
But it was confirmed yesterday that both Rashford and Man City midfielder Kalvin Phillips would join up with the group later than their colleagues due to “personal matters”.
That comes after the United star was given a red card for a high tackle towards the end of the first half in Copenhagen last week.
Erik ten Hag’s men, who were leading 2-0 at the time, went on to capitulate and lose the Champions League clash 4-3 to leave their hopes of reaching the knockouts in tatters.
However, he played the full 90 minutes as he helped United bounce back to defeat Luton Town 1-0 on Saturday in the Premier League.
Rashford produced a career best 32 goals in all competitions last term to finish at the club’s top scorer but he has just one so far this season.
