Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson was spotted saving a man from a burning boat on the set of Baywatch on Monday.
The 6’5″ strongman cut an impressive figure as he ran along the deck of the sinking vessel, smoke billowing behind him.
He ain’t heavy: Dwayne Johnson was spotted saving a man from a burning boat on the set of Baywatch on Monday…. but got a little help from a crane
He barely broke a sweat as he sprinted, even with the fully grown male slumped unconscious across his shoulders in a fireman’s lift.
However The Rock couldn’t take all the credit for the rescue – as the victim was essentially floating above him, having been hoisted there by a crane and harness just out of shot.
The illusion was ruined somewhat when the director yelled cut and Johnson stepped out from underneath, leaving the man comically suspended in mid air.
Once again, the action star was shirtless for the scene, wearing just the iconic red shorts of Mitch Buchannon.

Hollywood trickery: But the illusion was ruined somewhat when the director yelled cut and Johnson stepped out from underneath, leaving the man comically suspended in mid air
Just hanging around: The stuntman looked rather relaxed during the take
For the film version, he takes over the role from TV’s David Hasselhoff, who also appears in another role in the movie.
Johnson may have requested the harness himself, after admitting his #QuadsTookABeating from carrying a younger victim in and out of the water for hours on the Savannah set two weeks ago.
‘Our goal with #BAYWATCH is to bring y’all a big, fun, raunchy Rated R action comedy,’ he wrote in an Instagram post with a picture of the scene.
Take it off: Also spotted on set on Monday was co-star Zac Efron, who had a shirt on for a change
Floatation devices: Alexandra Daddario, who played Johnson’s daughter in San Andreas, was also seen aboard one of the famous red speedboats, wearing the new zip-front red swimsuit
‘But, we also go hard core with our action rescues (this kid fell off a pier in extremely rough waves) and pay respect to ocean lifeguards worldwide who are truly the first responders of the beach.
‘As fun and wild as our movie is, it’s been a real eye opening experience for me playing this role. Respect,’ he concluded, before adding a list of funny hastags: #HardCoreRescues #50DegreeWater #ShotThisSceneForHours #ThisKidAintLight #QuadsTookABeating #WhoElseNeedsSaving? #IWillPerformMouthToMouth #OnWomenOnly.
