Cardi B reveals her futile efforts for Logomania left her feeling defeated

Logomaniacs will go to great lengths to pay homage to their favorite labels: When you genuinely love LVs, Double C, and golden Medusa heads, every item in your life could use a dash of branding.

Outré hip hop stars like Cardi B take the concept a step further by incorporating the motifs in unexpected places.

Yesterday on Instagram, she took things to the next level with a celebration of Louis Vuitton.

Dressed in a tan crop top, miniskirt, and a 40cm version of the iconic hatbox, Cardi was at her most glamorous.

Rather than pull a look from Nicolas Ghesquière’s runway, she and her stylist, Kollin Carter, opted for a custom creation by designer Baba Jange, who transformed a skirt into a tailored blouse just for the occasion.

The clothes were conversation starters, but the look’s biggest surprise came courtesy of hairstylist Tokyo Stylez, who created a memorable platinum blonde ponytail to match the outfit.

Detailed with an airbrushed version of the famous monogram (a technique that was also at play by hairstylist Jawara at February’s Emilio Pucci showat Milan Fashion Week), Cardi’s mile-long extensions were a sight to behold.

Playful with a graffiti ombre effect that worked in the colors of her top, the hair elevated the entire look. Anyone can wear a bag covered in logos, but only the truly dedicated will take things head to toe in epic style.
