The fishermen could neither identify the breed nor if it was dead or alive.
A mutant fish with two mouths was caught by fishermen in Russia on Wednesday. The unusual sea creature which also had a bizarre hook tail take the fishermen a fright when they caught it. The creature was caught by fishermen Primorsky Krai, off the country’s south eastern coast. While one of its mouths was on the face the other one appeared to be on its neck. A video posted online shows the bottom of the fish filled with a transparent liquid that drips as they hold it up. Opening one of its mouths, the fisherman says, “We caught some kind of monster.”
The fishermen could not identify the breed and said that the transparent liquid could be the fish’s eggs. As per a Daily Mail report, the fishermen said they could not even make out if the fish was alive or not. The clip went viral after it was posted online and internet users were quick to react on the weird looking animal.
One of the comments on the video reads, “Oh boy! You really know how to ruin my appetite.” While another internet user commented saying, “Everything seems to be mutating in this world. Nature is avenging for people ruining it.”One of them even blamed a nuclear disaster in 2011 for the fish’s appearance saying, “This is all possible thanks to Fukushima explosion.”
In 2011, a disaster was caused at the Japanese power plant in Okuma at Fukushima triggered by tsunami after an earthquake. The incident at the Fukushima Daiichi power injured 37 people and is considered to be the worst disaster since Chernobyl. A report commission later said that the disaster was ‘entirely man-made’ and could have been prevented with better planning.
