The Golden State Warriors will have Curry vs. Phoenix
The Golden State Warriors are set to face the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night in an exciting Western Conference showdown. The Warriors have released their injury report for this game, and superstar point guard Steph Curry is not listed, meaning he is available to play.
Curry did miss a bit of time recently with a mild knee sprain, but looks to have put that behind him now. There is always concern whenever a knee injury occurs, but it was pretty clear from the beginning that Curry was not facing anything too serious with that one. Now back in the lineup, Curry is hoping to help get his Warriors back on track after finally snapping their six-game losing streak.
Phoenix is a team that projects to be firmly in the championship contention mix come playoff time, and while injuries have made their season more difficult so far, the Suns have won four-straight games coming into this one against Golden State. As previously mentioned, the Warriors did finally snap their losing streak, but are still one game below .500 on the season. That said, it is still very early in the year, and Golden State has plenty of time to go on a run.
A win over the Suns on Wednesday night would go long way towards building some momentum for the Warriors, which makes this a big game.
