Miley Cyrus turns 31! Singer exudes classic Hollywood chic in skintight black dress as she celebrates her birthday

Miley Cyrus commemorated her 31st birthday by sharing several photos and videos to her Instagram account on Thursday.

The hitmaker donned an all-black outfit while posing for the photos, in which she wore a fashionable cropped jacket that covered up her sculpted arms.

The Disney Channel alum, who recently celebrated receiving six Grammy nominations, later removed her outerwear and showed off a slim-fitting dress that clung tightly to her figure.

Cyrus also donned a pair of gloves and added a bit of color to her look with a leopard-print purse.

The Grammy Award-nominated performer accessorized with a chic pair of Versace sunglasses and several earrings.

Her beautiful brunette locks were tied back into a tight bun as she celebrated her birthday.

Cyrus also included several videos with her posts that had been taken during an invite-only show that took place at the Chateau Marmont Hotel in Hollywood this past Tuesday, where she performed her track Flowers live for the first time.

The actress was surrounded by an audience of her family members and friends as she belted out the emotional song, which was released in January.

She also included a set of videos in which she performed a rendition of Journey’s track Faithfully, during which she was joined by her guests for the song’s chorus.

The performer included a short message in her post’s caption to express that she was ‘taking this song back to the seed…she sprouted sensationally.’

Cyrus added that she was ‘grateful for the growth in us both’ at the end of her statement.

Flowers is thought by many to be a chronicle of the hitmaker’s relationship with Liam Hemsworth, which began in 2009.

The former pair met while working on the 2010 romantic drama feature The Last Song, in which they costarred.

The singer and the 33-year-old actor maintained an on-off relationship for several years, and although they became engaged in 2012, they broke it off the following year.

Cyrus and Hemsworth eventually rekindled their relationship, and they became engaged for the second time in 2016.

The pair tied the knot in December of 2018, although they went on to separate after just over seven months of marriage.

The hitmaker and the performer went on to formally dissolve their union in January of 2020.

Trans men and lesbians would get IVF priority two years ahead of heterosexual couples under NHS plan – as campaigners slam proposals as  ‘grossly discriminatory’

Family campaigners have criticised as ‘grossly discriminatory’ plans to give trans men and lesbians access to NHS-funded IVF two years ahead of heterosexual couples. Under the controversial proposals, trans men – those born as women who now identify as men – will be automatically assumed to be unable to conceive, as will lesbians and single women. This means they will be immediately eligible for IVF on the NHS – costing an estimated £5,000 a cycle – if they meet the other criteria, such as a body mass index between 19 and 30, not smoking, being under 43 and not having a partner with a child from a previous relationship.
