But did you know that 70% of snake species in the world lay eggs and the remaining 30% of species give birth to live young?

According to experts, people divide the snake family into 3 groups based on differences in birth. That is, the Oviparous group will lay eggs, the Viviparous group – will give birth and the Ovoviviparous group will lay eggs (the embryo develops in the egg but when it comes out of the mother’s womb, it escapes from the egg).

The egg-laying group usually lives in hot climates, while the egg-laying group and the egg-laying group tend to live in colder environments because the ground is not warm enough for the eggs to hatch.
