Conor McGregor made a young fan’s day by meeting him at an event in Bulgaria.
The UFC star was in the country to promote his whiskey brand when he met Riccardo, who burst into tears after being introduced to the Dubliner.
McGregorΒ took to social media to pay tribute to the youngster, who he hugged and posed for pictures with before giving him his autograph.
The former two-weight champion said: “There is someone out there who looks up to you. Who wants to see you at your best. Who wants to see you succeed. Do it for them! Great to meet you Riccardo, letβs go my man, we got this!”

Among the other people McGregor met in Bulgaria was former professional boxer Daisy Lang.
The ex-three division world champion was the first Bulgarian woman to capture a world title.
McGregor also posed for a photo with Serafim Todorov, who defeated Floyd Mayweather in the 1996 Olympics.
Sharing photos with them online, McGregor wrote: “Boxing royalty. @daisylang1, woman fighting pioneer and Serafim Todorov the guy that beat Floyd in Olympics, thank you for the gifts.”
