Young Nigerian Lady bags first-class degree in Economics, celebrates achievements

A brilliant Nigerian lady named Tolulope Alawode has bagged an Economics degree with first-class honors from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.

Tolulope obtained her bachelor’s degree from the prestigious University Ibadan in Nigeria with outstanding first-class honors. She shared her achievement on her Linkedin stating that the achievement is the proof of perseverance and self-belief.

She noted that her journey to academic excellence was one of transformation and was filled with challenges, triumphs, and  determination to succeed.

Tolulope said while a student, she juggled the demands of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants examination together with the pursuit of academic excellence. She said these demands tested her limits and pushed her beyond her comfort zone but she grew stronger, more resilient, and more confident in her abilities.

Tolulope mentioned that throughout her stay in the university, she never achieved a first class grade but her final year as a student was a turning point for her. She said she worked really hard with a determined mind to prove herself to her family and professors.

She said the achievement is a symbol of her unwavering determination, ability to adapt and overcome challenges, and her unwavering belief in herself.

Tolulope stated that as she embarks on the next chapter of her career, she is carrying with her the lessons she learned. She added that she cultivated resilience and a passion for Economics that has fueled her journey.
