Even counting only 29 of their 66 performances (2023 alone) from their “Born Pink” World Tour, Blackpink has set a new benchmark in the K-pop industry by being ranked as the Top K-pop artists on Billboard’s 2023 Year-End Chart.
Blackpink achieved an impressive total revenue of 148.3 million USD from these 29 shows, attracting 703,000 audiences. This important achievement helps them enter the top 10 global artists with the most successful tours of the year.
Blackpink kicked off the “Born Pink” world tour in October 2022, attracting audiences worldwide in several major cities. In recent years, their music streak has been non-stop, culminating in an explosive night performance in September at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, South Korea. The highest-grossing tour by a female artist in Asia (including groups and solo artists) overall and the highest-grossing tour for an Asian artist in history (surpassing BTS). It was this tour that made Blackpink the first girl group member in 18 years to win the “Billboard Music Awards” since Destiny’s Child in 2005.
