The Warriors will look a bit different this time around as the team has parted ways with guard Jordan Poole and brought in veteran point guard Chris Paul to shoulder the load in the backcourt.

Although it seems like a strange dynamic with two styles of play between Paul and Curry, Golden State will try to make it work, with the superstar face of the franchise already excited to get things going, as he posted the following pictures on his Twitter account on Monday.

Ironically enough, the first game of the season for the Warriors will have a few storylines to go along with it, as it will be the first time that superstar forward Kevin Durant plays in front of the Golden State fanbase since he left the team and the first time Paul will go head-to-head against the Suns since they traded him in the NBA offseason.

Along with all the storylines, this game will be a showdown between two teams that hope to be title-contending squads this season and will look to make a statement on Tuesday in San Francisco at the Chase Center.
