Aaron Rodgers didn’t shy away from joking about Travis Kelce this week.
The New York Jets quarterback referred to Kelce as “Mr. Pfizer” since he did a commercial with the company, urging people to get a COVID-19 shot and a flu shot at the same time.
“Mr. Pfizer, we kinda shut him down a little bit,” Rodgers said during Tuesday’d edition of the Pat McAfee Show. “He didn’t have his crazy impact game, obviously, he didn’t have his yards and stuff.”
Kelce was then asked for his thoughts on that comment and said that he was fine with it.
“I thought it was pretty good. With the mustache, I look like someone named Mr. Pfizer. Who knew I’d get into vax wars with Aaron Rodgers, man? Mr. Pfizer against the Johnson and Johnson family over there,” Kelce said.
All of this comes after the Kansas City Chiefs beat the New York Jets on Sunday Night Football last week.
Rodgers has never shied away from taking shots at the COVID-19 vaccines.
