Dex Saves Sonny, But Is It A One-Time Thing When Takedown Goes Sideways?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) could rescue Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) one more time, to prove himself loyal. But might that be just a one-time thing when Sonny’s takedown attempt of the mob boss murderer goes sideways?

General Hospital Spoilers – Takedown Trap

Sonny, along with Damian Spinelli, (Bradford Anderson) Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Selina Wu (Lydia Look) is setting a takedown trap for the shooter who came after him and others.

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) shows up from the dead on Monday, March 4 so there is a chance he may be the shooter, although he’d definitely be programmed.

Chances are he’s actually not the shooter but may be tracking him possibly in concert with John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington).

If not, he definitely shows up at the takedown-a preview shows someone raising his hands and his elbow can be seen, with a confused Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). Dante with his gun pointed at him squints and says “What the hell…?!”

GH Spoilers – Dangerous Confrontation

Sonny is definitely in for a dangerous confrontation, and doesn’t have enough backup without Dex; Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) managed to track Dex down.

Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) realized Sonny’s in over his head, as has Dante, and and called Josslyn to bring Dex back and after much argument from him, she does.

Joss thinks they can get through to Sonny and make him understand they two are meant to be together, but Dex understands the danger. Just reasoning with Sonny won’t cut it, because Sonny won’t listen to reason, especially not now.

Actions speak louder than words, however, and saving Sonny’s life when he’s backed up against the wall might make an impression.

General Hospital Spoilers – Dex Heller May Be Clued In By Ava Jerome

Ava talked Sonny and Selina into letting her be a third party negotiator foor this takedown trap they’ve set up-we already know Dante will interrupt.

Anna Devane, (Finola Hughes) Cates, and possibly Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) may show up as well.

It looks like a confusing situation where Dante goes out on the docks and confronts Jason, and Dex and Josslyn may show up too-finding themselves in a frantic situation.

Later in the week Michael will try again to convince Dex to stay-so if Dex saves Sonny this time, it may indeed be a one time thing. There has to be a reason that Dex will need convincing if Sonny indeed does show his appreciation and regained trust!
